Regret is Poison

“Don’t continue to stare
at the closed doors… You
will fail to see the open ones
around you…”

Here is what I was thinking:

I have come to realize that these closed doors, for better or worse, play major roles in life’s journey. Our relationships all serve some sort of purpose… even if it is just to get us to the next relationship… or the next step in life. I keep reassuring myself everything happens for a reason. My head knows this, and maybe if I keep spewing rhetoric, I might actually take it to heart as well.

Although a lot of us can’t help having some regrets about certain friends with whom we no longer communicate; think about this, maybe some of your current relationships are a direct result of relationships lost. For that, be thankful… They have led you where you need to be.

I cannot imagine not having certain people in my life. I suppose you could say that our relationships are like theatrical performances… Some close prematurely, some are limited engagements and some have years and years of a good long run. Good or bad, most of them leave an indelible impression and ALL of them affect us… even in the tiniest of ways… A new door is always opening. That is life…

Keep the circle positive, peaceful and loving. (c)
