Listening to the Cruel Whispers of Others
Here is what I was thinking:
How many of us listen to cruel whispers of others and believe or take on that energy as a result of people being mean or judging us?
I have been thinking about all of the emotional stressors such as relationship issues, financial difficulties, etc. Could it be a by-product for something working out for the better? Sometimes we think there is no peaceful way out of any mess. In particular, if we feel as if others are judging us.
It all begins with finding that quiet sense of peace. What I believe, the biggest events in our lives, good or bad, allow us to draw insight, wisdom and experience from whatever is happening. We have to work through our thoughts, change our perspective and lighten up – difficult when people are being nasty.
If someone is judging you, you have no control over it. It is none of your business what someone else thinks or feels about you. Deny that entry into your mind. In other words, don’t dwell on something that is causing you a lot of worry. Try hard to not let it invade your quiet thoughts. It takes too much time and energy to allow negativity to take hold. Don’t underestimate the power of your mind and God.
We all have the ability to turn our thoughts, acts, words and deeds into something great and inspirational that is far more productive and meaningful….
Keep the circle positive, peaceful and loving. (c)
